This blog is about my adventure as a Marine. It all began after returning home from New York state after attending a music festival. Some of you might remember Woodstock. Most of us that were there have recollections. What awaited me was an envelope from the draft board. To make a long story short I was drafted into the Marines and off to boot camp. Then Camp Pendleton and off to Vietnam. the link www.capmarine.com will tell you a story. Check Cap 2-3-5.
My final duty station was Quantico, VA. teaching 2nd luietenants Infantry training. This is the short story, the long one rarly gets out.

You did well my man! I was with the 101st at Camp eagle, near Phu Bai. Good to have you home Jeff. RogerD A911

Jeff- Like your blog, brought back many memories of opening up Phu Bai for the Agency. We actually lost more men to the USMC than we did to charlie. They though our ACd rigs were for the troops, instead of for the sophisticated equipment inside.
